Incorporating traditional American values and civic responsibility into your business isn’t just about ethics, it seems to be our last ditch effort to save our country; oh ya, and it’s also a savvy marketing strategy. And the funny part is that it’s not hyperbole, and I’m not being dramatic, it’s the actual state of things.
These days, aligning your brand with these principles can connect with customers on a much deeper level than we’ve ever seen. Our country is divided and people want to know where you stand politically and socially, as foreign and unfamiliar as that sounds. So marketing and advertising your patriotism and traditional American values is sure to win over a very large crowd and drive success.
And if you’re worried about the other portion of potential customers, I would advise you not to worry about them at all; they eat their own. So it’s always just a matter of time until they turn on their own people and supporters and try to cancel everyone they come in contact with.
It’s better to clearly state your position right off the bat so you align yourself with people who spend money and will be loyal customers, and who you are likely to get along with and not fight with about every little thing.
I’m not sure I even need to discuss this, but just to cover all bases, here it is. In this upside-down, almost dystopian-like world we now live in, consumers increasingly seek out businesses that embody values that they align with.
I REALLY hate to be this black and white, but how the world is now, you’re either with us or against us. It’s a sad state of affairs and it’s sad that I even have to say this, but you have to pick a side, otherwise, you’ll end up at odds with both sides.
Social responsibility has taken on a whole new meaning and now it’s up to each and every one of us to remind people what a 1st. world and civilized society looks like and what that means. If you haven’t already, figure out for yourself why aligning your brand with these ideals can strengthen customer loyalty and trust and help rebuild our great nation before it’s too late.
